Caught between what was,
and what is to come.
Today is the tomorrow that we worried about yesterday.
People talk about the past and future in grandiose ways, marking them in place and viewing them as two affixed points. One static and unreachable, the other, volatile and therefore untouchable. As people born amidst cultural crossroads, we often find ourselves drawn between what was and what is to come — between the highlights of naivety and the inevitable we-made-it moment.
Threading both ends, this collection is an emphasis on the present.
Actions that transpired yesterday will feel different today. Likewise, the satisfaction of acting on something now will feel markedly different tomorrow. Capitalize on that satisfaction.
